This question, whether you know it or not. Is quite simply the most important question you will ever be asked in this lifetime. You may not even have any idea as to what I am talking about: nevertheless it is the most important thing you will ever deal with.
So let me ask you, Is YOUR name in THE BOOK?
What Book? It is called "The BOOK of LIFE" it is the book that will determine where you, I, and every human being that has ever lived will spend ETERNITY. The Bible is very clear on this issue, You see every human being will live FOREVER. The problem is,WHERE? and given there are only two destinations, heaven, and hell: This is the base importance of why you, and every other person on this planet hear this message. I know that many churches these days are not to faithful in declaring this truth, But the sad fact is, It is still the criteria that determines your, mine, and every one elses eternal destiny. Many churches these days are so fleshly (more concerned with earthly things than Godly things), and blind to their real reason for being, that they have abandoned their call in doing so. This is why so little preaching about the important things like heaven, and hell is preached, and are being replaced with fleshly things like how to have a better life and things that are not of the utmost importance. Let me say this. If you put GOD FIRST, YOUR WHOLE LIFE WILL BEGIN TO SHAPE UP FOR THE BETTER, But you must first be "born-again" (John 3) to even begin to think about a happy, fulfilling life.
Friend, God loves you, He loves you so much, That He sent His only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ, To pay for your sins,and mine, by dying on the cross, and give us the opportunity to choose our eternal destiny. It is handed to us, to make up our minds, and receive Jesus Christ as Savior, and LORD, and thereby make Heaven your eternal home. That is to be the main mission of God's Church, to preach "THE GOSPEL" to every creature, To extend this message of hope to all whom we can, To be a light to a world of darkness, and warn every human being to turn to Jesus Christ, and repent of their sins, that means to turn from their old lives, and turn to Jesus and serve Him until death. Jesus then will give each "Christian" a burden to reach out to the lost. That is, everyone who has not yet heard the gospel story, and believed it.
That brings me back to my original question. Is YOUR name in THE BOOK?, Have you heard that you were born a sinner in need of God's Amazing Grace? Have you heard Jesus Christ is "The ONLY way to GOD? Have you heard that you must REPENT of your sins, and turn, and serve God with all your heart? If not I am telling you now, that these things are TRUE, They are the Gospel story, and that is this church's mission: to be faithful to preach this gospel until God calls us home. The words I speak are not mere rhetoric, they are words given me to tell all who will hear.
Do you feel God tugging on your heart drawing you unto himself? If you do you need to confess your sins to Him, you need to ask him to save you, and wash your sins away, in His precious blood. You must also believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that He died for the sins of the whole world, that He was buried, and rose again on the third day according to the scriptures, and is now seated on the right hand of God, interceding for the saints ( He is praying for His children), and you must turn away from your old life(forsaking all including our old sinful desires) and serve the Living God, by and through Jesus Christ, every day of your life. If you do feel God tugging on your heart, and pray to God these truths, In Jesus' Name. and believe Him to save you, (BECAUSE we CAN NOT SAVE OURSELVES) You will be saved, and guess what! You name will be written in 'The LAMB'S BOOK OF LIFE", and if your name is there, You are set to be a part of the first resurrection which if you are a part of it, you will be forever free from the chance of suffering the second death. (READ Revelation chapter20 below) asking God to help you see the truth, also do not dwell to much on your past thoughts of God, begin today, and ask Him to help you understand, and know the truth,

Chapter Twenty
The Authorized King James Version
 1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal
upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand
years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little
season.
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw

he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death
hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and

8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters
of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the
number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of
the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out
of heaven, and devoured them.
10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters
of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the
number of whom [is] as the sand of the sea.

And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face
the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for
them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (emphasis mine)
